During your Cuba Adventure Culture holiday, you’ll be a participant in the humble lives of everyday Cubans, a witness to their unspoiled environment, and the recipient of amazing good times.

This tour is for people of all ages who love the outdoors and desire to engage with a vivacious people and imbibe in their vibrant undulating culture.

Together with a small group of like-minded travel companions you’ll enjoy tasty Cuban cuisine (all meals included). You’ll discover Havana in 1950s classic American convertibles, and journey to jungle mountain tops in Soviet army trucks, explore several western provinces, and the most important UNESCO World Heritage sites in our Americas.

You’ll traverse a metropolis and many small villages with miles of hypnotic pristine nature in between. All the time staying in comfortable safe clean hotels.

You’ll walk, swim, hike, bike, sail, paddle board and snorkel across rivers, seas, forests, parks of towns and bewitching wee hamlets. Level of exertion is flexible. Total fun is ensured.

Cuba’s big! Its land mass is 42,426 square miles – about 80 percent the size of Alabama. Cuba is nearly as large as Louisiana, and larger than Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Ohio or Indiana. Altogether it’s bigger than Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont combined.

Day 1 – Friday :: Havana

  • Arrival at Havana’s José Martí International airport
  • Expedited immigration and custom service
  • Exchange your money
  • Meet your guide and bus driver
  • Transfer to your hotel in Havana
  • Check-in to hotel and private welcome cocktail with hotel staff
  • Arrival dinner at Cuba 54 private restaurant in Old Havana

Day 2 – Saturday :: Havana

  • Breakfast in Hotel (included)
  • Short shuttle to bike
  • 2 hr. guided bike tour to Old Havana
  • Guided walking tour of Old Havana visiting 4 historic plazas
  • Visit Convento Belén community center,  a humanitarian healthcare and community service project in Old Havana
  • Lunch at Café del Oriente restaurant (included)
  • Classic ‘Americano’ Car ride to the Morro Castle
  • Guided walking tour to Havana’s national Art Museum
  • Return to hotel to freshen up
  • Dinner at the private restaurant Mojito Mojito (included)

Day 3 – Sunday :: Guama

  • Breakfast in Hotel (included)
  • Bus ride to La Boca De Guama
  • Lunch at Casa Enrique paladar (included)
  • Guided tour of Crocodile farm
  • Guided birding tour to observe Cuba’s most common and rare birds
  • Boat ride to Guama islands in the Treasure Lagoon
  • Check in to your special cabin on the water
  • Dinner at Guama’s restaurant featured on the 1 C.U.C coin (included)

Day 4 – Monday :: Cienfuegos

  • Breakfast at Guama’s restaurant (included)
  • Snorkeling “Bay of Pigs”
  • Lunch at Caleta Buena restaurant
  • Visit “Bay of Pigs Battle” museum
  • Guided tour of Cienfuegos City
  • Dinner at Rancho Cristal private restaurant
  • Bus ride to Villa Guajimico

Day 5 – Tuesday :: Guajimico

  • Breakfast at Villa Guajimico restaurant (included)
  • Guided nature hike, swim and/or snorkel at private beach
  • Guided hike through Cave system
  • Lunch at Villa Guajimico restaurant (included)
  • Afternoon activities: horseback riding (not included), diving (not included) or Stand Up Paddleboarding
  • Return to your private cabin to freshen up
  • Dinner at Villa Guajimico (included)
  • Salsa and Bachata dance lessons

Day 6 – Wednesday :: Guajimico, Cayo Blanco and Trinidad

  • Breakfast at Villa Guajimico restaurant (included)
  • Catamaran sail to Cayo Blanco island
  • Swimming, snorkelling and hiking
  • Lunch at Cayo Blanco restaurant (included)
  • Catamaran sail back to mainland
  • Opportunity for fresh water rinse

  • Visit a community project in Trinidad

Day 7 – Thursday :: Guajimico and Lake Hanabanilla

  • Breakfast at Villa Guajimico restaurant (included)
  • Head to Topes de Collantes, one of the most beautiful natural protected areas in Cuba
  • 4x4 mountain truck ride in the Escambray Mountains
  • Visit to the Coffee house and botanical tea shop
  • Head down for a great nature trail in Guanayara national park
  • Lunch at Casa de la Gallega restaurant, included
  • Return to Havana
  • Farewell dinner at your hotel (included)

Day 8 – Friday :: Off to the Airport

  • Breakfast in hotel (included)
  • Transfer to Havana’s José Martí International Airport
  • Air departures
  • Missing Cuba so much already
Cuba travel is a challenge. Our staff and Cuban partners work super hard to make your tour unfold seamlessly despite Third World conditions on the island. Sometimes things don’t go as planned. Flexible travelers understand this is part of their Cuban adventure.
